| Without existing offices in Singapore or Hong Kong, RHK was asked to develop a design concept without any particular corporate regional image in mind. Selecting bamboo veneer for the walls and floors with contrasting light and dark colors in the horizontal and vertical plains we were able to reflect the Asian and Singaporean qualities that are common to this part of the world and give the office a regional undertone. Conference facilities were installed at a high standard due to the high usage from being a regional head office. The back of house office was a mixture of open workstations and offices mostly for occupants that were only in this region for a very short time. RHK was able to successfully procure this project through their Singapore office with the Design and Build method. |
