| Moving away from its traditional image, Marks and Spencer asked RHK to help develop a new contemporary image with minimalist design. Consequently, RHK designed a space from bare shell to a finished product which had clean stainless steel and aluminum finishes against a clean white background. Workstation screens were medium in height to give occupants a degree of privacy. Meeting rooms were created small but with operable walls contributing to their flexibility to be larger facilities. RHK also designed a lab with washing and drying facilities where garments could be tested in a controlled environment. This project was completed successfully within a relatively short time period under the Design and Build Method. |
