| Internal anchor tenant expansion necessitated Marubeni’s relocation from a higher floor within the building. Accordingly, a key element of the project brief was to utilize existing furnishings and to incorporate them into RHK’s design which freshened up and modernized the look and feel of the existing fitout. Particular attention was paid to the front of house where a large graphic wall highlighting the clients’ core business replaced traditional framed photographs and in doing so has become a dominant feature of the reception. In the meeting area, custom built wood paneling matches the existing high quality wood and leather table to create an imposing boardroom. The project was completed at a very reasonable price in a market where tenants looked to re-use existing fixtures and fittings wherever possible. |
