| Having occupied an office in Wan Chai for over 10 years, Ricoh moved to One Kowloon, Kowloon Bay in 2007 to house their regional staff and create a showroom that showcased new products. Our brief was to effectively communicate to staff and visitors that Ricoh was not only a multinational document processing giant but also a company that cares about its employees. RHK was able to effectively meet this brief with a fresh design concept and pallet of contrasting colors and materials mixed with various graphic images of Ricoh’s choice. Excellent space planning and use of natural light in common and breakout areas were also able to effectively give staff a sense of individuality and space. A fantastic example of how the Design and Build method is able to streamline the programme, effectively procuring 65,000 sq. ft in just 10 weeks. |
